Reflections by Rockford Developments
Where can you find that special place that reflects the carefree lifestyle, where everything is within easy reach and yet provides you a sense of calm after the storm?
Where else but at Rockford Developments’ Reflections, a 206-unit, four-building apartment condominium located within one of the most vibrant communities in the city.
By its very name, Reflections is synonymous with meditation and calm. Tucked away in a cul-de-sac, the project is the culmination of well-thought-out living spaces, landscaped surroundings and the perfect lake atmosphere. So it’s not a surprise to find out that, despite the slow summer pace, this choice real estate is being snapped up quickly by condo buyers. “Buildings one and two are sold out. We’ve sold 80 per cent of Building three. We’re just releasing the waterfront units in Building four,” says Mario Devcic, area sales manager for Rockford Developments.
Each building will have approximately 50 units. Suites are aptly-named after the lakes such as Tahoe, Waterton, Okanagan, the Emerald, the Como and the Louise, enticing names when you think of living right on the water’s edge. The suites span from 697 square-feet to approximately 1,100 square-feet of living space. Pricing ranges from the mid-$250,000s to more than $400,000. “There are eight different floor plans available on the four buildings with one- or two-bedroom plans with one to two bathrooms,” says Lana Campbell, marketing and customer service manager for Rockford Developments.
Currently available for viewing are the Waterton and the Tahoe, two condo show suites that give buyers an idea how to customize the look of their condo units. “One of our bestselling plans is the 894-square-foot, two-bedroom, two-bathroom Waterton,” says Campbell. The Waterton has standard features, such as smooth finish interior doors and lever handles and a ceramic tile front entrance. The maple kitchen cabinets come in four colours and buyers can choose between black and white appliances. There is also ample storage in the washer/dryer area. “All the units will have an e-café—a built-in computer work area,” says Devcic.
The larger, 969-square-foot Tahoe has all the upgraded fixtures and finishes to showcase options condo buyers might want to consider. “We’ve upgraded it with hardwood, granite, additional ceramic tile on the wall, upgraded cabinets, upscale titanium wire shelving, stainless steel appliances, and under-mounted china basins in the bathrooms,” says Campbell.
Reflections’ buyer profiles cut across the board. “We get young singles or couples in their early to mid-20s and jump to those in their early 30s. Then there are the empty nesters in their 50s who live here four months and go south for the winter season,” says Devcic.
Situated in a park-like setting, Reflections’ other attractions include landscaped lawns and trees with pathways around the waterfront. Glass-railed balconies face the water for complete peace and quiet. “The waterfront units, from the master bedroom to the living area all have windows that face the water,” says Devcic. The main- and fourth-floor units all have nine-foot-ceilings, thus allowing for bigger windows and water vistas. Condo owners also have access to a gazebo area and a fully-secured heated underground parking and storage space. “There will be extra surface parking outside,” says Devcic.
Condo dwellers will find no shortage of activities in the established community surrounding Reflections. The news that people living downtown have made the move to Reflections is not surprising either. Close by are shopping, movie theatres and fitness centres. “I think it’s also the unique architectural style and with the waterfront location. Reflections should add to the community in keeping with the Newport theme,” says Campbell. CL
