Condo shoppers at exclusive Mission project have a date with Destiny

The word luxury can be defined in several different ways. For some, it might mean owning a designer handbag, driving a Jaguar, staying in a five-star hotel or living in an upscale penthouse suite.

But the developers at Developments 2 Inc. have their own definition of the word luxury and it means a lifestyle that is within walking distance of downtown, unique shopping, fragrant coffee bars and the trendiest restaurants. That definition is Destiny.

“It’s all about location and destination. You can’t describe it any other way,” says Ryan Sawatzky, one of the owners of Developments 2 Inc. “Destiny is really for anybody who wants to have an unbelievably convenient location downtown and have all the amenities at their doorstep.”

Heated, underground parking is also available, while on the top of the building, homeowners can enjoy a glass of their favourite wine from the rooftop patio overlooking the hustle and bustle of downtown Calgary.

The kitchen simply sparkles with modern ceiling-high cabinets and top-of-the-line Bosch stainless steel appliances.

In total, the upgrades would cost tens of thousands per suite, but are conveniently included in the sale price of each unit, making it impossible for buyers to refuse.
“This is what the buyers want today,” says Sawatzky. “We are very proud of our specifications package and we cannot wait to launch this project to the market.”

Even though the official launch of Destiny won’t be until September 9, so far interest has hardly been slow. The project has already sold several of the units on the first four floors and is saving the best units for the official launch.

With the high level of interest generated already, Sawatzky expects it won’t take long before all the units, many of which offer amazing city and mountain views, are completely sold.

“I think people will buy here because it’s an incredibly high-quality product that provides tremendous value,” says Sawatzky, who credits the fabulous location of Destiny as a major selling point. “This truly is the best location in all of Calgary. You can leave your car and walk to work downtown. You are steps away from the best restaurants and shopping in the city and you are five minutes walking distance from the Talisman Centre and Stampede grounds. What more could you want?”
