Beattie townhomes offer best of both worlds in Airdrie
In addition to its obvious charms, Airdrie also offers residents a fantastic opportunity to commute. With Calgary only a short drive away, moving to Airdrie doesn’t mean having to give up your job if you work in the larger metropolis; which means that you can experience the best of both worlds. With all the perks of living in Airdrie, award winning builder, Beattie Homes, has decided to build 59 multi-family units contained within 21 buildings, nestled in the Hopewell community of Sagewood.
The Project, called the Patios of Sagewood, offers two and three bedroom suites ranging from 1,338 to 1,500 square feet, with prices starting in the $265,000s for units without a garage, and around $344,000 for the garage product, (prices include home, lot and GST). The Patios of Sagewood feature both townhouse and duplex units with contemporary designed layouts and optional floor plans that will suit any family’s needs. Not every family is the same and Beattie Homes is well-known for its functional and flexible designs; and the Patios definitely reflect that design ethic. Each suite is designed with its own personal patio where friends and families can enjoy the fresh air, and each home will be built with the quality and functionality that Beattie customers have come to recognize. Inside, each unit comes standard with six appliances, a choice of maple, oak or white cabinetry and hundreds of wall colours to choose from in order to give it that personal touch.
The first phase of the Patios of Sagewood is nearly sold out, with the first possessions expected July, and then throughout September. Lynn Abrams, Area Manager for Sagewood says that there has been an incredible response to the Patios and that they have sold very quickly. However, that’s only the first phase; so not to worry. “We’re hoping to release the second phase sometime in March,” says Abrams. “Of course we’re expecting that phase to do just as well.”
Josh Withell, Marketing Co-ordinator with Beattie Homes, says that not only are they hoping for a March release date on phase II, but they expect it to be March 1st, which is great news for those who feel that they missed out on the first phase. This three-phase project will be located on the corner of 24th Street and 1st Avenue in the SW quadrant of Airdrie, (1st Avenue being the divider between the SW and NW quadrants). On the other side of 24th Street lie rolling hills and vast open-spaces which add to the country-like atmosphere that many Airdrie residents had found appealing in the first place.
