Many people are concerned about the amount of storage space available when it comes to purchasing a condominium. But that will not be the case at Crown Shores Condominiums in Airdrie, located a short ten minute drive north of Calgary along the QEII Highway.

Sarah Kazakoff, sales representative for Crown Shores Condominiums says, “There is plenty of storage in each of our suites.” This is very evident in the 925-square-foot two- bedroom, two-bath show suite. The master bedroom suite has three—yes, three closets! One is a walk-in with two additional closets. An alcove was also created to house a dresser or bureau in the sleeping area. The second bedroom has a deep, double closet. The storeroom/laundry combination has enough floor and wall space to allow for numerous configurations of shelving to meet any purchaser’s needs. On top of this great space, a double closet is located to the right of the foyer and beside that: a large pantry. Further storage space is found in the kitchen in the maple cabinetry and in the island.

Crown Shores Condominiums is a multi-family, four-building development and when complete will include 512 units. “Buildings One and Two are sold out,” explains Sarah, “but we are now selling suites in Building Three. We are also taking reservations for suites in Building Four. The first two buildings feature lounges with fireplaces. Building Three is all about adult living and features a common room with kitchen and a view of the courtyard.”

Sizes of the units vary from 795-square-feet to 1,295-square-feet with seven different floor plans to choose from. “Each suite has a deck or patio; one plan even has a deck that is 100-square-feet in size!” Prices start in the $230,000s. There is underground parking available, as well as garages on the east side of the property, and above ground stalls sprinkled throughout the 11.37-acre site. Ponds and courtyards will enhance the fully landscaped common areas. “The only access to the property, when it is complete, will be the bridge going over Nose Creek which flows along the west side of the property.”

“We are close to the bike paths in the area,” states Sarah, “and we are very close to shopping. We are within walking distance to downtown Airdrie, the Superstore and Woodside Golf Course. And from the west and upper floors, we definitely have a view of the mountains!”

“We have a European open concept for our living spaces in each unit.” Radiant floor heating is used, controlled by each owner. Flooring in each unit is wood laminate, with the exception of the bathrooms and laundry/storage room, linoleum is used. “Every suite in our development has two bathrooms and a breakfast bar.”  Kitchen upgrades are available. Those who have already purchased suites at Crown Shores Condominiums vary from air flight crew members, “because we are so close to the airport,” states Sarah, to older people moving in from the farm, to families, and to those who are downsizing. “We even have people who have property in Mexico who want to have something here.” And then there are those who are just tired of the big city.

So if you are experiencing any apprehension about purchasing a condo because of storage issues, look no further than Crown Shores Condominiums in Airdrie, located at 405 Airdrie Road. CL
