2020 Condos are Like no other

Not your ordinary cookie-cutter units

Like the company name, the 2020 condominiums are like no other development, bar none.

Each of its 20 units is unique with an eclectic feel to them. Contemporary and traditional, each of its five floor plans is individually designed to make every owner feel special in this four-story walkup.

One and two bedroom suites range from 523 to 763 square feet and start at just $259,000.

It’s not just about the lipstick; it’s behind the walls that make this project even more attractive.

The company has gone above and beyond in every aspect of building renewal. Installed is a new boiler system and hot water tank, new plumbing, new wiring, new roof, new patios. New cedar plank tongue and groove siding has been added to the existing brick exterior. The rear parking lot and walkways are newly paved. There is new carpeting, railings, paint, finishing, and windows in the hallways, entrances, and stairwells.

The materials and quality of the workmanship are top grade. In fact, you can probably expect at least a 25-year life expectancy before servicing or warranty issues prop up. Like No Other Development (L.N.O.D.) has used real materials, such as three coats of paint and a layer of primer on every wall.

Each unit is specifically designed for itself. Not one kitchen or suite is the same, other than the Frigidaire appliance packages (fridge, range, dishwasher). Even the taps are different.

Custom cabinetry in the kitchen and bathroom is of the highest quality craftsmanship. New tubs and sinks, vented laundry areas plus stack front-loaded laundry are in every unit. Every suite has a garburator, granite countertops, engineered hardwood flooring, and quality shag carpet. There are noise-proof windows and pets are allowed.

Lighting packages are different for each unit as are the finishings. Heat covers are handmade to match each apartment. From wall insets to wainscoting, each home has its own distinctive look with attention to detail, such as hand painted grooves on the wainscoting.

Every household will have locker storage and wireless Internet. A fire alarm system was placed into every unit and throughout the hallways. The property is fenced along the sides with a rear garbage enclosure.

L.N.O.D. is hands-on to ensure there are no cutting corners. They’ve been in the renovation business for over 12 years. The fact that they have ensured previous residents were moved into another home shows their commitment to caring – the same caring that has been brought into each unit.

This boutique building stands in its own enclave along 11th Avenue SW – low traffic in the middle of a hub. It’s a Beltline community on a quiet corner where new development and further condominium conversions are planned.

The thoroughness of the conversion means lower condo fees, between $200 and $250 per month. The fees are low because of the complete upgrading of the building, making it a great investment.

The 2020 condos will be open for occupancy in December. For peace of mind, a test of the fire alarms has already been done to protect the early occupants.
