west by Stonecroft
Location, Location, Location! Look no further than west by Stonecroft, found in Calgary’s northwest community of Arbour Lake.
Whether it is shopping and entertainment at Crowfoot Crossing, or access to the future LRT, you will find it all within walking distance of this unique condominium project.
“It’s a fabulous area,” says Sandra Williams, sales manager. “Residents also have access to Arbour Lake, with boating, fishing, picnic and barbeque facilities and its wonderful community centre.”
“We are well over 60 per cent sold,” she adds. “We appeal to everyone: from young professionals to empty nesters.” Ranging in size from 917- to 1135-square-feet, all 92 units are two bedrooms with two full bathrooms, and some units have a den. Prices start in the low $300,000s.
Features include “nine-foot ceilings, with the exception of the top floor’s centrally located units, which have vaulted ceilings in the great room,” explains Williams. Granite countertops in the kitchen and on the island, as well as maple cabinetry and full height ceramic tiled backsplash, higher end stainless steel appliances, including microwave hood fan, a 22-cubic-foot fridge with ice and water, a CERAN® topped stove with self cleaning oven, and a garburator in the undermount sink complete the kitchen.
“We have ceramic tile floor in the entry, kitchen and both bathrooms, plus a choice of several designer selected colour pallets of wall colours and berber and cut-pile carpet.”
west was designed to fit the topography of the area, linking it with the land’s contours and taking advantage of the panoramic vistas of the Rocky Mountains and Alberta’s foothills. This is Stonecroft’s second project in the community of Arbour Lake, with their other properties located throughout Calgary including Citadel, Cedarbrae, Harvest Hills, plus Stonegate Crossing in Airdrie and a project in Chestermere. “We are very proud to offer this quality, intelligent development.”
“This project is very unique in its architecture. west has a refreshing modern design with its stucco, brick and steel exterior,” says Sandra. “It has a north and south wing, plus a circular centre area that links the two wings. There is a two-storey lobby. The third level of the centre core is comprised of a fitness centre, and the fourth floor can be used as a meeting room or banquet room, truly a multipurpose room dedicated to the residents. And both these floors have a bathroom and full kitchen” for convenience. Another plus: the two-inch window blinds offered to purchasers to complete the package.
Every unit includes stackable front loading washer and dryer, a gas fireplace, and gas hookup for a barbeque on either the balcony or patio that features aluminum guard railing with tempered glass infill panels, so nothing is taken away from the view.
Each suite is hooked up with CAT 5 (high speed capacity) to handle today’s technology and is pre-wired for security on the main floor. Most units include two underground parking stalls and a storage locker. “The main level parking garage accommodates 25 visitor parking spots, so even the guests are sheltered from the elements!”
“Our goal is to be ready with occupancy starting December 2007. The completion of the LRT should coordinate with our occupancy,” states Williams. CL
