Mosaic Aspen Hills
Offers stunning beauty both inside and out
Calgary’s west end continues to be one of the most desirable locations in the city, as it provides incredible mountain views and unbeatable access to the majestic Rocky Mountains and downtown Calgary.
For those looking for a new condo on the west side, Mosaic Aspen Hills by Hawthorne Homes is an excellent choice, and demand for a home in this architecturally stunning new community is reflective of this.
“Sales are fantastic. We have sold our targets,” says Hawthorne Homes marketing manager Rachelle Norris.
Mosaic Aspen Hills will eventually consist of 132 townhomes, with possessions beginning this summer. Priced from $350,000 to $405,000 (including GST), these quality-built townhomes have become a very hot commodity in the young singles’ and couples’ homebuying markets.
Norris says there are three main reasons why these upscale townhomes are in great demand. “Our purchasers have bought because of the location, design and features offered,” she explains. “The development is in the highly desirable west end of Calgary and offers double-attached garages for the lowest price in the area.”
All homes will feature either a tandem or double-car garage and private yards for homeowners to relax in after a busy day.
Design features within each home are impressive. With five models ranging from 1,008- to a roomy 1,450-square-feet, each of these homes will offer a luxury feel to it that is very much reflective of Hawthorne’s fine work. A division of Carma Developers, Hawthorne and sister company, Heartland Homes, have built more than 4,000 homes since 1989 and won more Customer Choice Awards in Alberta than any other builder.
Mosaic Aspen Hills will most certainly carry that torch of building excellence, says Norris. “We have a high finishing level in the homes, with everything upgraded including hardwood/laminate and tile flooring, granite islands, upgraded lighting, trim, plumbing fixtures and backsplash tiles.”
The contemporary-styled kitchens will feature maple cabinet doors, granite countertops on models that feature islands, built-in dishwashers, pantries in some plans, and black or white appliance packages.
Each home’s flooring will also be upscale, and will range from ceramic tile floors, hardwood, or laminate to 33-ounce berber carpeting. Four-inch baseboards will be installed to bring out the beauty of the flooring choices.
Other features include central vacuum rough-ins, an impressive lighting package, a washer and dryer, high-efficiency furnaces and a gas barbecue rough-in. Optional features, depending on the model, may include front or rear kitchens, a dropped entryway, ensuite options, walk-in closets and oversized windows and high ceilings.
The development will feature lots of green spaces with an environmental reserve running right through this architecturally stunning community.
Condo fees will also be reasonable compared to other communities. For just $125 per month, owners won’t have to worry about details such as landscaping, snow removal, fire and liability insurance, exterior maintenance, reserve fund and management fees.
The Mosaic Aspen Hills presentation centre, which features a mock kitchen and bathroom, is now open Monday to Thursday from 2 to 8 p.m. and Friday to Sunday and holidays from noon to 5 p.m. To get there, follow 17th Ave. S.W. to Aspen Stone Boulevard, turn right and follow the signs.
