Radium condos offer the perfect resort lifestyle

Sable Resorts Inc. is now releasing the second phase of their Radium, B.C. resort property, Sable Ridge.

Located just two minutes from Radium Hot Springs and two blocks from The Springs Golf Course, this contemporary-rustic three building development also offers quick access to Windermere Lake, Panorama Ski Resort and no less than ten nearby golf courses.

With Sable Ridge, Sable Developments has set out to make buying a second home less daunting for buyers. “This project is about becoming a recreation owner with ease,” says Mark Ghanimé, Sales & Marketing Director of Sable Resorts Inc, explaining that with outstanding finishes and built-in features, there is no need to add anything extra to your purchased unit. Sable Ridge buyers may choose from two finishing schemes, and with a full Frigidaire appliance package, window covering package, storage lockers and heated underground parking, all that’s left to think about, besides the outstanding furniture package available from Penthouse Furniture, is all the fun to be had at your new vacation spot.

There are still a few choice units, both one-bedroom and three-bedroom plus den floor plans, available at pre-construction pricing in Phase 1. This includes two units of Sable Ridge’s premier floor plan, the 1377 square foot Explorer.

“This unit is geared toward families,” says Ghanimé, adding that “Radium has a lot of activities in place for kids and for families: hiking, biking, the lake, the hot springs, scavenger adventures… and it’s a beautiful, quiet town.”

The Explorer floor plan features three bedrooms, a den and two bathrooms, plus two balconies, one north-facing and one south-facing, and can sleep up to ten people. The two remaining Explorer units in Phase 1 are being offered fully furnished, adding to what is already a fantastic value.

Buyers can get a taste of what Sable Ridge has to offer at the Calgary show suite in Mission, which showcases the 930 square foot, two-bedroom plus den, open concept Intrepid floor plan. The Intrepid makes up 70 per cent of Sable Ridge, and is similar to a number of other floor plans, give or take a room or two, including the nearly identical, 930 square foot, two-bedroom Grace floor plan as well as the Explorer.

“There is tremendous value in the units; people will see that as soon as they walk through the show suite,” says Ghanimé.

The interior design is striking, with rustic, cozy touches throughout. In the kitchen, ceramic tile floors contrast nicely with deep brown alder cabinets, sculpted concrete countertops and a unique engineered stone hoodfan. Dark wood ceiling beams flank the living room and dining room, where an engineered stone fireplace with alder mantel invites you to kick back and forget about the real world.

Each bedroom features a walk-in closet and direct access to either an ensuite or bathroom. In the Intrepid plan, the balcony is accessible from the living room and through garden French doors in the master bedroom.

As Ghanimé says, Sable aims to offer something unique not only for the Radium area, but also a look that cannot be found in any condo project within the city. “Our goal was not to design a condo that would be found in Calgary and just transplant it [in Radium]. We wanted to give it a modern cabin style, and make it really feel like you were on a getaway.”

Of course it doesn’t just feel like you’re on a getaway – you are. You’ll be reminded of this every time you look out over the valley from your balcony, enjoy one of the three outdoor hot tubs or the seasonal outdoor pool, or entertain friends and family in the clubhouse or the outdoor barbecue area.

Phase 1 occupancies at Sable Ridge will begin in August 2006; Phase 2 in late May 2007; and Phase 3 in January 2008.

The Phase 2 Sale Launch Grand Opening is at noon on Saturday, June 10th.  The Sable Ridge show suite is located in Calgary at 2500 4 Street SW. Show suite hours are Tuesday to Thursday, 4 to 7 p.m. and weekends, noon to 5 p.m.   CL
