McKee townhomes are value-packed

Not many two–storey condominium townhouses on the market can boast the value and quality of Valley Park. Home buyers breathe a sigh of relief when they visit the McKee show home just off Yankee Valley Road in Airdrie because they are discovering home ownership involves a quality product backed by the reputation of a local and well respected builder.

Valley Park also offers something no other condominium in Airdrie can – walk out basements. This enticement has proved attractive to many buyers – a walk out basement adds another 600 square feet of living space with lots of natural light.

34 of the 84 units at Valley Park are designed as walk outs. You can move into your walk out Valley Park condo with the basement completely finished - McKee provides the option to buyers to create and complete the lower level for instant livability.

But even without the walkout, the floor plans are generous in size and offer up a multitude of options with two main floor plans, and the choices of two or three bedrooms and one and a half or two and a half bathrooms on the upper floors. Each home also features a rear deck, a completely dry walled and insulated single garage and a Frigidaire appliance package.

Details matter to McKee Homes - after all they are building in their home town, so each Valley Park home features oak cabinetry, a full kitchen tile backsplash, decorative doors of your choice and one piece fiberglass tubs for easy maintenance. Buyers can choose from a wide selection of lino and Berber colors or upgrade to other flooring finishes.

The 1403 square foot show home demonstrates the full potential of the plan with three bedrooms including a master with full ensuite. The second and third bedrooms are decent in size with plenty of closet space. With this plan the option to have a second floor laundry makes trips up and down the stairs with a heavy laundry hamper a thing of the past.

The windows throughout are large and allow for plenty of light – the tasteful buttery yellow walls in the show home are accented with white trim and the oak cabinets in each bathroom and the kitchen provide a richly textured finish.
The layout of the Valley Park community is designed to maximize the site’s proximity to parks and walking paths. An added bonus to homeowners with dogs is the adjacent off leash area to the west of the homes.

Valley Park condo owners are neighbours to a friendly shopping district which has been growing steadily in the past two years, here home owners can enjoy the convenience of walking for groceries, wine and beer, movie rentals, pick up a pizza or stop in and dine at two (soon to be three) restaurants.

Commuters will appreciate the easy access to the QE 2 Highway – with Calgary just ten minutes south.

Valley Park is also conveniently located on the east side of the City and the more active minded will appreciate the short distance to the popular East Lake Wellness and Recreation Centre. Of course Airdrie is famous for its interconnecting walking paths and they begin right outside the doorstep of Valley Park.

Sales rep Alan Stuckert is anticipating the opening of the final two phases of Valley Park this fall – walk out units will be available and a majority of the final phase homes back onto green space.

The Valley Park show home is open Monday – Thursday 4 – 8p.m. and Saturday and Sundays 12 noon to 5 p.m.  CL
