Following on the heels of the great success Pointe of View has had with their three Shawnessy-area projects – Bridlewood Pointe, Bridleview Pointe and Evergreen Pointe – condos at Bridlecrest Pointe will be released for sale on October 15, 2006.

Located just down the street from Bridleview Pointe, at 24th Street and Bridlecrest Boulevard, the project will feature the same modern, practical floor plans and affordable prices as every Pointe of View development, with the added bonus of the commercial and natural amenities that abound in the area.

“The southwest has been a great location for us,” says Clark Hogan, marketing manager for Pointe of View Developments. “It’s a nice, up-and-coming community now, with all sorts of local amenities as far as services go.”

Indeed, within minutes of Bridlecrest Pointe, there is a Superstore, Sobeys, Wal-Mart, Co-Op, Safeway, Home Depot, Canadian Tire and Staples, not to mention countless other smaller stores and services. There is also fun to be had no matter the season – outdoors at Fish Creek Park, two nearby golf courses or the bird sanctuary, or indoors at the Empire Studio 10 movie theatre, YMCA or library.

A unique and charming aspect of the development is the aspen grove that will be left in its natural state in the centre. Judy Pourde, Pointe of View sales consultant, worked on the three previous projects in the area and says that buyers are excited about the look of Bridlecrest Pointe.

“Everybody’s really excited about it, because when you look outside, you won’t be looking at a parking lot, since it will all be underground,” she says. Instead, residents will overlook the aspen grove.

As Hogan points out, the community is also easy to access, with Highway 22 to the south and, in the future, quick access to the 37th Street extension. Of course, there is also the C-Train for fast, easy access to downtown.

When completed, Bridlecrest Pointe will be comprised of five buildings, with a total of 265 suites. The condos are all two-bedroom and two-bedroom plus den, and range in size from 900 to 1100 square feet. Featuring open concept floor plans, efficient use of space and plenty of design options, condos at Bridlecrest Pointe will be easy to call home.

Each maintenance-free condo includes five appliances (including washer and dryer), and secured front entrance. Heated, underground parking, as well as storage, is available.

Unique to Bridlecrest is Cat5e wiring, which will allow buyers choices in selecting entertainment providers. Each suite will also come equipped with the TELUS Future Friendly Home box. This allows the homeowner to customize their wireline network, easily and without tools.

In addition, owners will receive three months telephone service with six call features; three months high speed internet with a wireless home network (with one free modem/wireless router); and three months TELUSTV (with one free set-top box).

Every Pointe of View buyer also has the opportunity to personalize their condo, with help from Pointe of View’s interior designers.

“We don’t make people just pick off colour boards, our customers are given the opportunity to make the suite their own, with an exclusive consultation at our Design Centre,” says Hogan.

The Design Centre experience includes the selection of fixtures, flooring, cabinets and colours. There, customers can see fully designed kitchens and bathrooms giving them a good idea of how choices will look in their own home. All components, including appliances, can be upgraded according to a buyer’s wishes. Customers can even purchase window coverings through the Design Centre, which will save the time and trouble of having to install them later.

Condos at Bridlecrest Pointe will be officially released for sale on October 15 at Pointe of View’s Evergreen Pointe showsuite, located on Eversyde Avenue SE just east of 24th Street.  CL

Showsuite hours will be 2 to 8 p.m., Monday through Thursday and noon to 5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. Visit the Pointe of View website at http://www.pointeofview.com for more information or contact a Bridlecrest sales consultant at 440-9381.
