It’s nothing but Blue Sky at Rocky Ridge for investment-savvy condo buyers with a keen “sense of adventure. Streetside Development Corporation’s most ambitious project to date has captured the attention of both the Rocky Ridge Ranch community and condo buyers alike. Streetside’s innovative approach to architectural design not only delivers vast skyline views to residents of Blue Sky but also preserves the integrity of a landscape cherished by existing homeowners in this dynamic northwest neighbourhood.

“Our goal with Blue Sky was to take advantage of the spectacular mountain vistas without compromising views of existing homes in the area,” says Wendy Jabusch of Streetside. “Virtually every home has a view of the foothills valley with a mountain vista forming the horizon and, of course, endless blue sky overhead.”

The result is 250 well-priced homes set among several terraced buildings that cascade gently down the west-facing sloped terrain at the southern point of Rocky Ridge Ranch.  Blue Sky’s unique resort-style architecture allows for private entries to both bungalow and two-storey homes, some with front garden patios and others that feature balconies perfectly oriented to watch the setting sun.

“The response from buyers has been great,” says Jabusch. “We’re pretty much sold out of Phase I and experiencing the same high interest as we launch Phase II.”

Blue Sky will be completed in six phases over about four years. The first, now at the framing stage, features one-bedroom bungalow plans including the 761 square-foot Esprit that is showcased at Streetside’s on-site sales centre.

“Visitors to our sales centre are quite surprised by our standard finishing, especially given the price points we’re offering,” says Area Manager, Jim Neal. “Starting from $123,900, we’re able to provide high level design and lifestyle features plus an exceptional level of privacy for every resident while at the same time delivering excellent shared amenities.”

Blue Sky features heated underground parking with elevator access to grade level, personal storage lockers, extensive garden landscaping with ample space for two exclusive use barbecue areas, a fitness facility and resident’s lounge that is ideal for relaxed entertaining.

Streetside’s signature smart interiors allow for optimal use of space in one-bedroom bungalow plans and two-bedroom or two-bedroom plus den two-storey plans that range from 761 to 1005 square-feet. Huge view windows and nine-foot ceilings, plus vaulted ceiling accents over the great room area of some units, emphasize Streetside’s deliberate approach to creating a sense of space that equals the development’s vast open-air setting.

Environmental reserve land forms Blue Sky’s western border. Throughout Rocky Ridge Ranch, groomed trails merge with natural elements and culminate around tranquil wetland parks and fully equipped playgrounds, features that offer endless opportunity for outdoor recreation. Quick access to fast moving travel routes make excursions to mountain parks as effortless as the 20-minute drive to the hub of the city.

Rocky Ridge Ranch is one of Calgary’s most highly acclaimed neighbourhoods because of its superb blend of nature’s timeless appeal with commercial amenities that contribute to easy living every day.

“We strive to make purchasing a new home at Blue Sky an enjoyable experience whether you are buying your first home or looking for ideal space to meet your changing family lifestyle,” says Neal.

The Sky is the limit at Blue Sky. Drop by the sales centre, open Monday to Thursday from 1pm to 7pm or Friday, weekends and holidays from Noon to 5pm.
