The Pointe is Value

Creating value is the most powerful anchor for any business. When business is providing homes for people, creating value is imperative. A new home is one of the most significant investments we make. As we explore opportunities, we evaluate options according to our current lifestyle while at the same time looking at equity potential.

Pointe of View anchors value by maintaining strict adherence to consumer focused performance objectives. With a commitment to provide value, Point of View seeks value - the most effective way to ensure consistent quality while keeping costs to a minimum. According to marketing director, Clark Hogan, cost effectiveness does not compromise quality or style. In fact, he says it enhances.

“We develop efficiency strategies as the first step in developing a project. Ours philosophy is to provide better value based on balancing space and specifications to reach as many buyers as possible. While design and interior features vary among projects, standard specifications for each are in line with basic price points for the location.”

With Bridlewood, Evergreen and Fish Creek Pointe plus Legacy Estates (for +60 adults) in Somerset, Pointe of View pretty much has the markets covered in Calgary’s suburban southwest corner.

Ideal for budget-conscious buyers who want to make the move from impartial tenant to master of the house, Bridlewood Pointe offers priced-right space from $70,900 for studio suites to $130,900 for two-bedroom dual bath plans. As Phase I nears completion with a good selection of two-bedroom plans still available for Summer 2004 possession, Pointe of View just released the remaining 91 suites in the third and final building at Bridlewood Pointe. The project comprises four-storey, elevator-serviced buildings, each with secured lobby access and a mix of surface parking and heated underground available.

“We’re seeing a mixed demographic with this development, especially with the new studio and one-bedroom plans,” says Carrie Spring, sales consultant for Bridlewood Pointe. “Many of our younger buyers grew up in the neighbourhood and want their first home to be near family and friends. At the other end of the spectrum, we appeal to the parents who now have more freedom to travel for extended periods so prefer less maintenance, more security. And right down the middle we’ve got the X-generation singles and career couples.

Evergreen Pointe, neighbour to Bridlewood Pointe, is easily recognized as part of the Pointe of View family but at three-storeys for each of the two apartment buildings is a departure from the more common four-storey developments. The 89 suites in the first building are close to sold out as the next phase gets underway with the addition of some larger two-bedroom suites and underground parking available.

“Evergreen is attractive to first time buyers who love the southwest location,” says sales consultant Marg Loewen. “The amenities in this area are super. We’re within minutes of absolutely everything from entertainment, shopping, year-round recreation - you name it.”

Fish Creek Pointe presents an incredible opportunity for affordable luxury and maintenance-free living in a prestigious estate neighbourhood bordering Fish Creek Park. The two, elevator serviced three-storey buildings feature boutique-style architecture with stucco exterior and generous stone accents, upscale lobby entries and high end interior specifications. According to sales consultant, Tammy Williams, the project is unique for Pointe of View.

“The value factor at Fish Creek Pointe is emphasized in design and lifestyle,” she says. “We’re especially appealing to buyers who want functional space but don’t want to sacrifice higher-end specifications as they transition from single family estate homes. Starting at $122,900 for a one bedroom with surface parking, we’re also accessible to first time buyers. That’s what Pointe of View is all about.”

Bridlewood and Evergreen Pointe share a sales center at 162nd Avenue and 23th Street SW.  Fish Creek Pointe sales centre is at 2518, 146 Avenue SW. Open 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Monday through Thursday and weekends from Noon to 5:00 pm.
