The Mission Crossing is a true one-of-a-kind executive townhome development the likes of which Calgary has never seen before, and now may be the last chance to own one of the city’s first ultra luxurious inner city residences.

It’s a terrific example of European design elan with a decidedly James Bond kind of suave sophistication to it. This becomes immediately apparent with its stately Khars engineered hardwood flooring in the main floor, open riser stairs with stainless steel spindles, and metal clad, oversized windows that illuminate the luxurious, spacious surroundings.

Best of all, each townhome has its own elevator to access all four-levels with ease, and a private double garage in the heated underground parkade. Both features are firsts in Calgary, and the developer is certain of this because of the persistence needed to secure the necessary permits from the city.  “The design of Mission Crossing is nothing short of extraordinary and City planners were pleasantly surprised by the innovative ideas our design introduced,” says Natalie Dingle, director of sales and marketing for Tricor Development Corporation.

The Mission Crossing is a verified hit, as there are only three left of the nine total units, one of which has already been conditionally sold as of press time. Priced from $1.275 million each, these homes belong to a sophisticated niche market and appeal to a group of very discerning clientele.

“We were ecstatic with the response we received, everyone that saw these homes knew they were looking at something that Calgary has never seen before.  You see projects like this in Vancouver and Toronto and it most definitely has a very European feel so it is quite unique in Calgary,” says Dingle.

“Owners can effortlessly access all four levels of their townhome through this private elevator, you can bring your groceries in from your private garage take the elevator and drop it off in the pantry on the main level or take the steaks right to your rooftop patio for summertime grilling while enjoying the best views of the city,” she adds.

The Mission Crossing doubles its appeal with its fantastic location just steps away from trendy 17th Avenue and the boutique-style of 4th Street S.W. “It offers the very best in Calgary urban living. The city’s best shopping, restaurants, rivers, parks, pathways and the downtown core are all within a quick stroll,” Dingle says.

Each luxurious three-bedroom home has 2,502 to 2,579 square-feet of space on four levels, which includes a flex room adjacent to the private two-car garage. “Everything about these townhomes is exceptional, even the design of the stairs which are anchored to posts that were specifically engineered for the project. Normally stairs are anchored to the walls but when done this way, any vibration between the walls is eliminated and thus the transfer of noise is non-existent.  This is just one thing, among others, we have done to ensure the highest level of quiet and privacy possible,” Dingle adds.

The number of features is way too long to enumerate, but Dingle assures it has all the bells and whistles that one could probably ask for. “It has the best home automation system around, a state-of-the-art security system, top-shelf appliances and fixtures, it is designed to take every worry out of the equation. Once they buy, all the owner has to do is move in.”

Main floor courtyard patios feature private outdoor gas fireplaces for each townhome, while an additional two to three private balconies (depending on the model) give everyone in the home space to enjoy the views. Generous rooftop areas (almost 500 square-feet) are specially designed for hot tubs and other features like running water, potted plants, roof drains and natural gas barbecues.

“We’ve attracted a lot of attention from Calgary’s crème de la crème, even top corporations who look at it as the best housing option for their executives,” Dingle adds. CL
