Red ahead
Streetside’s Red Haus is ready and waiting with ready-to-move-in homes
“Red” means stop, and when you get to Red Haus, you can stop searching, because stylishly upgraded apartment style condos are all ready for immediate occupancy with the same top-notch quality and affordability that Streetside projects are known for.
“The Ravensburg marks the completed third phase of the four-building project by Streetside Developments in this highly popular community of Royal Oak in the northwest, and all systems are go for immediate-move-ins,” says lead sales consultant Ashley Carcasole.
The Red Haus project has the necessary ingredients for success — a good location just off Country Hills Boulevard and Stoney Trail, efficient design, and a distinctive look with its red tile roof that can be seen for miles around. “With prices in the Ravensburg starting at $192,750 for a 619-square-foot suite, there really is tremendous value considering that you already get granite kitchen countertops and tile flooring with the package.”
The red tile roof not only makes Red Haus stand out, but makes it more durable and has a 50-year guarantee, longer than your regular asphalt shingle roofing. Also, because it is heavier, Streetside had to put in extra support between the walls, which adds to sound attenuation benefits to each unit.
Each unit comes with a titled parking stall in the complex’s heated underground garage, as well as a storage locker. “The garage gives owners a great option, but you hardly need a car living here, as we are so close to the bus line that takes you straight to the Crowfoot LRT station,” she points out.
“Besides that, there is no shortage of amenities in the community, as we are right across from the Royal Oak Walmart and Sobey’s grocery, there are plenty of restaurants and pubs to choose from. And with the Stoney Trail access it is that much closer to a mountain getaway.”
“We’ve really appealed to a broad range of buyers — from first-time homeowners to empty-nester — which makes for a great community dynamic,” Carcasole says. “Our corner units that measure over 1,000 square-feet attract a lot of purchasers downsizing from larger homes who appreciate the convenience of maintenance-free living without giving up the same quality finishing they have been accustomed to in their current homes.”
One of the best-selling units in Red Haus is a 654-square-foot one-bedroom unit that has a very functional design that allows the owner to get the most of every square-inch of space. “It’s a terrific starter product, with a spacious kitchen that includes a raised eating bar, and a computer work station — in matching granite — opposite the eating bar, a perfect spot for laptops.”
There are several floorplans to choose from, all with nine-foot ceilings, huge windows with one-inch Venetian blinds, Shaker style maple cabinets with brushed chrome hardware, and Bosch wall oven and cook top. “The Bosch wall oven and cooktop are impressive standard features, not usually seen outside the luxury of inner city developments”.
Other features include French doors leading to spacious, private patios or balconies for each suite, each of which has an outside gas line for added convenience.
Red Haus also features a maintenance-free exterior with vinyl siding and attractive brick accents, plus the colorful exterior accent of metal clad windows. These are double-glazed, Low-E windows which cut down on outside noise and retains indoor temperatures better.
Owners also have peace of mind with secure foyers and common areas using FOB keyless entry, everyone gets a stall in the underground heated parking, and most buildings come with two elevators.
“We also offer residents the convenience of a clubhouse that is equipped with a fitness room, kitchen and preparation area, sun deck, and a game room with pool tables and big screen TVs,” she says.
“We’ve had really strong sales this spring and we’re planning to launch the fourth and final phase of Red Haus sometime this year,” she adds. “This will mark the final opportunity to own a home in the most distinctive multi-family project in the area of town that everybody wants to be a part of.”
“Its open concept floor plans and higher-than-average standard specifications have always put it a cut above the rest. “The higher floors of the fourth building, especially the corner units, will have unobstructed views of the surrounding mountain and cityscape,” Carcasole says.
Red means ‘stop’ and your search for an affordable, conveniently located and distinctively designed condo can stop at Red Haus.
