Cardel Lifestyles quality exceeds buyers’ expectations

Cardel Lifestyles is building strength in Calgary’s new condo and townhome market. As the company prepares to launch another new 80-unit building in Panorama West, customers are responding to a focus the company had in 2011: To reduce the number of deficient items on move-in day.

Cardel has always worked towards high customer satisfaction levels, but in the last five years has executed a plan to exceed customers’ expectations on move-in day with a specific goal of providing perfect condos and townhomes. 

As Cardel Lifestyles celebrates its 10th year in business as the multi-family division of Cardel Homes, it also celebrates 2011 with its highest number of possessions – 246, with the company achieving less than one deficiency on each customer’s move-in day. 

“Our customers were happy to move in to their new homes and see that we were ready for them, making sure that the paint was perfect, the cabinets were flawless, and all items installed just right, so move-in day was more of a celebration than inspection,” says President and Partner Tim Logel. “I have been a part of this process with Cardel for 30 years, and it’s always been a passion of mine, so doing it right the first time is an effort I will continue to work on.”

Logel believes Cardel Lifestyles’ attention to detail and finding the best materials for the best team of trades and suppliers has been a successful strategy the last five years. “When market conditions favour the customer, home builders work towards improvement through innovation and higher customer satisfaction levels,” adds Logel.

Cardel Lifestyles’ presentation of four condo models in Panorama West highlights the company’s core strengths of great locations with amenities, thoughtfully designed floor plans, attractive affordable prices, and high quality standards, which Cardel is well known for. “The models opened in the spring of 2011, and traffic and sales have been exceptional ever since,” says Brad Logel, area sales manager, and younger brother of Tim.

Prices start at $149,900 plus GST and the third building features  both one and two bedroom plans, ranging from 624 to 1,037 square-feet. Each plan is carefully designed by a team of designers at Cardel, who use their experience to complete designs that feel open and have no wasted space. Panorama West was the company’s top-selling development in 2011 with a total of 69 sales. 

Panorama West is in the heart of the nearly-completed Panorama Hills by Genstar and is adjacent to the Gates of Panorama Hills Shopping Centre, it is near to public and separate schools, pathways, park areas, and features quick access to Stoney Trail. A short drive away is Country Hills Town Centre with expansive shopping and services, as well as the popular Cardel Place Recreation Centre.

This year, Cardel Lifestyles will be selling and building condos and townhomes in its Lighthouse Landing, Prestwick Place, Chaparral Valley, Cranston, and Sage Hill developments and is ready for the forecasted increase in demand as customers take advantage of record low interest rates and as more people move to Calgary and look for new condos and townhomes.
