The traffic, noise, fast pace and the hustle and bustle of the city—these are a few of the reasons people may look outside of Calgary when considering a new home. Families are especially drawn to the quieter lifestyle that small town living offers. With these needs in mind Evolution by Greenboro created the Murals of High River.

The Murals, comprised of 59 townhomes in eleven buildings, is situated in Montrose, High River’s newest community. Montrose is a mix of single and multi-family homes created by Dundee Developments, offering a family-friendly environment in a town boasting an abundance of parks, pathways, schools and amenities. Linda Rutledge, Vice-President of Operations for Evolution by Greenboro, says although it is a short commute from High River to Calgary, the town offers everything residents need. “High River is a growing community but it is also a self-sustaining one,” says Rutledge. “It’s a very pretty town and it has everything you could possibly need without having to travel to Calgary.” As a matter of fact, High River has its own hospital, library, recreational facilities, and a variety of businesses including restaurants, cafés, shops and stores. High River really does offer urban amenities without sacrificing its small-town atmosphere.

Among the benefits of living in the Murals are a maintenance free lifestyle and the ability to live in a Master Planned community. Rutledge says that five of the 11 buildings are walkout units backing onto the water feature, which all residents will be able to take pleasure in. With a paved pathway around this charming feature, residents can enjoy the fresh air and beautiful surroundings any time they wish. However, residents won’t have to leave their homes to enjoy being surrounded by beauty, with the Murals offering two different floor plans that are very appealing. The two floor plans offer 1,463 or 1,563 square feet of beautiful living space, and with either design, buyers can choose between having a kitchen with an island feature, or a spacious U-shaped kitchen. The larger floor plan offers a bonus room on the upper level, and both plans offer three bedrooms, and two-and-a- half baths (one being a master ensuite). Of course Evolution by Greenboro ensures every home is full of above average standard features, including a choice of four designer interior colour palettes, an elegant gas fireplace, luxury six-piece appliance package including a front-loading washer and dryer, and a choice of stylish cabinetry. Each home also features an
attached garage.

At the Murals of High River, construction is well underway and is currently selling with prices starting from the $320,000s and ranging into the $370,000s, an amazing introductory price in the community of Montrose. Show homes are scheduled to open in September, but information on the Murals can be picked up at the sales centre (which is now open within Greenboro’s single-family show home at 1403 Montrose Terrace). Located only 20 minutes south of Calgary, it’s a picturesque drive to High River, and well worth the time to check out the area. Alternately, you can visit the website at to view floor plans and see everything the Murals has to offer. The Evolution by Greenboro product line was consciously created to include high standards, superior specs and environmentally-friendly green features, so when you choose an Evolution home, you know you are choosing for your future. As one of three current developments, the The Murals of High River is no exception.
