Condominiums are essentially miniscule communities—a gathering of individuals and families sharing common living space. Cedarglen Homes captures the very essence of this ideal with the creation of Tuscany Pointe—its ambitious multi-family project in the northwest that emphasizes elegance and exclusiveness, now 50 per cent sold.

Tuscany Pointe estate villas offer the ultimate in maintenance-free living comfort in a luxurious, stately style, says area manager Jeff Finnemore. But more than anything else, Tuscany Pointe offers a lifestyle of pampered bliss—a carefree existence that allows owners to enjoy life without having to worry about the trivial details involved in maintaining a home. Or at least, its exterior.

“Tuscany Pointe offers a lifestyle of luxury and comfort,” he says. “Although Tuscany Pointe appeals mainly to people looking to downsize, it doesn’t mean that they have to give up on the finer things in life that they have grown accustomed to.”

He also points out the 36 attached bungalows that make up the project create an exclusive community, which enhances the feeling of belonging, safety and security.

“Many of our clients here have a lot in common with each other which is the cornerstone of strong communities,” Finnemore says.

Located in a quiet cul-de-sac overlooking picturesque Tuscany ravine, the project possesses a rare combination of man-made grace and natural beauty.

“We offer luxury, comfort and the freedom of the outdoors that can’t be matched by inner city condominiums,” Finnemore points out.
Other multi-family projects may offer maintenance-free accommodations, but Finnemore says Tuscany Pointe, which is priced from $599,900 to $999,900, ups the ante in terms of the sheer elegance of its surroundings.
Standard features such as granite countertops, upscale hardwood and tile flooring and top-of-the-line appliances give the interior a knockout punch and “oh-my-god moments” begin as soon as guests enter the show home.

“This is the first time that we have embarked on a multi-family project with this high level of specifications and finishing detail,” says Cedarglen Homes’ marketing co-ordinator Laura Rye.
“Location is a huge advantage as well—so close to the airport, the Rockies and several golf courses. To bring something of this value with a maintenance-free exterior makes it even more appealing,” she tells Condo Living.

There are two types of units available: the 2,309-square-foot Voltera and the 3,100-square-foot Verdhelo II. “Both are fully developed true estate villas with attached garages and about 90 per cent of what you see in the show home are standard specifications,” Rye says.

The Verdehlo II show home is just about as grand as they can be, with its open design and an abundance of windows (there is even a skylight atop the master bedroom ensuite) that lets plenty of natural light in. This lends a distinguished allure to the home that despite the dark wood paneling in the main floor, the show home still looks bright and sunny, Finnemore says.
An oversized gourmet kitchen with a speckled tan and cream granite-topped island is a focal point of the 1,775-square-foot main floor. It’s the perfect centrepiece for entertaining but also provides an elegant setting for quiet dinners.

There is a sunny breakfast nook nearby overlooking the ravine, which is also visible from the lofty great room that features an emerald-cut ceiling complemented by stately maple built-ins and a granite-faced gas fireplace.

Just behind this is a spacious master bedroom with its marvelous attached five-piece ensuite that has all the luxurious comfort of a five-star hotel including granite-topped dual vanity and raised vessel sinks plus in-floor heating for added comfort.

The fully-developed basement is a showstopper as well, with its wet bar and built-in entertainment unit. There are two more bedrooms in this 1,325-square-foot area and lots of valuable storage space.

“It is a very energy efficient home as well, using all the latest environmentally-friendly home technology,” Finnermore says. It just rounds out beautifully all the fine qualities that Cedarglen and Tuscany Pointe offer.
