Ginger can be infused into freshly-baked cookies, sautéed with spicy stir-fry and used to garnish slippery sushi.

Delicious! Ginger can be used in a variety of ways, including as a lifestyle choice.

Streetside Development Corporation introduces Ginger Park, a refreshing taste for anyone’s palate. Whether your taste is contemporary or classic, you’ll be able to tantalize your lifestyle taste buds at Ginger Park. “This new townhome community is a highly desirable opportunity for a wide range of demographic groups,” says Naum Shteinbah, general manager for Streetside. “The west side offers so many conveniences and is an ideal location for just about everyone. These homes range from 1,590 to 1,637 square-feet so homeowners won’t compromise space for the maintenance-free lifestyle.”

Ginger Park is located on 9 Avenue at 85 Street S.W., in Calgary’s highly sought-after west side. This 115-unit community sits atop property that allows for quick escape to the mountains and features many near by walking paths and park areas. In an effort to do their part for the environment, Streetside has decided to preserve the already flourishing Aspen trees that are on the property.

Ginger Park is the company’s third condominium community in Calgary’s west side, following in the footsteps of Robson in the Summit of Montreux and Milestone in Signal Hill. Ginger Park, in particular, offers the best the West has to offer in terms of access to shopping and area amenities: minutes from grocers, pharmacies, medical offices and recreation facilities. Plus Ginger Park is only a short distance from Westhills and Signal Hill shopping areas. Ginger Park’s slated move-in-date will start as early as Fall 2009, while prices start in the low $400,000s.

As mentioned, the project will protect three natural mature groupings of Aspen trees, which creates a park-like atmosphere and keeping the effervescent outdoors theme in mind, the exterior architecture is alpine inspired as well, with stimulating splashes of vibrant colour.

Complete with both stylish brick and durable vinyl siding exterior finishes, 30-year asphalt shingles and an oversized single-car garage door with remote control, Ginger Park also features plenty of expansive, dual-pane, PVC vinyl windows with energy-efficient sun-preventing glass. Each unit offers an eight-foot by ten-foot rear patio and a natural gas barbeque hookup. And the inside is just as appealing.

“Floor plan layouts are designed with open spaces in mind,” adds Shteinbah. “Inside, residents will enjoy maple or cherry cabinetry, stylish hardwood flooring, plush, shag or berber carpets, a complete energy-efficient appliance package and a choice of four unique colour palettes to suit every personal style offering hundreds of unique, design combinations.”

With the direction of S2 architecture for the interior design of the units, Ginger Park’s units offer you the opportunity to infuse your own personal flavour into your home. Kitchens will have custom-crafted maple cabinetry in a variety of stains and profiles, with granite counter tops and a raised eating bar and ceramic tile backsplash

Flooring consists of plush, stain-resistant, static-control nylon carpet or a choice of Berber, both lined with standard seven-pound underlay and pre-finished maple hardwood in the living room area. There is resilient flooring in kitchen, dining room, bathrooms, laundry area and entry ways and in-floor heating in the foyer.

Ginger Park even offers a full Whirlpool appliance package, including a dishwasher, five-burner self-cleaning range oven, 21-cubic-foot refrigerator, microwave and over-the-range hood fan combo, and a front-loading washer and dryer from Frigidaire.

All homes will be enrolled with the Alberta New Home Warranty Program—which offers customers coverage for any structural issues on their home for up to ten years.

Streetside Development Corporation is a division of the Qualico Group of Companies.
