Calgary’s first-time buyers, right-sizers to ARRIVE

Those new to Calgary may be unfamiliar with the term “YYC”, which is the call sign for the Calgary International Airport. It has since been adopted as one of the city’s most popular nicknames, which seems quite fitting for the image of a young, modern, progressive city that Calgary aspires to be.

It may as well be the call sign for Partners Development Group’s ARRIVE brand of townhomes. Their ARRIVE townhomes have quickly become the multi-family residence of choice, not only those new to Calgary, but those new to the home-buying market as well as those who are just warming to the concept of right-sizing.

Partners’ vice-president for sales and marketing, Jade Mahon, says ARRIVE at Redstone Way will have a total of 92 townhomes ranging in size from 1,180 to 1,294 square-feet. All will be two-storey models with two- or three-bedroom plans and options for a developed basement that will add approximately 500 square-feet of livable space.

ARRIVE at Redstone Way townhomes will be located conveniently at the corner of Redstone Street and 128th Avenue N.E., which provides an easy access point to Metis Trail. “We’re located in the heart of the community, where the Redstone Market area, future LRT and future school sites are going to be built, and it’s so convenient to get in and out of this location, being at the main entrance of Redstone,” Mahon says.

The contemporary design of the exteriors are in line with Redstone’s identity that changes the perception of north Calgary to a more lifestyle-oriented, amenity-rich, modern community.

ARRIVE at Redstone Way will have Hardie cement board and metal clad exteriors that are as close to maintenance-free as possible and have fire-resistant benefits. There’s a lot of architectural detail that also goes into establishing its curbside appeal, including black metal clad windows that gives each townhome a very distinguished appeal.

“They will look beautiful, and having the Hardie board and metal clad exterior features gives ARRIVE at Redstone Way a long term added value and sustainable condo fees,” Mahon points out.

The two-storey townhomes means fewer stairs to negotiate, and the open-concept design for the living spaces makes it perfect for multi-generational families, too, a demographic that has certainly played a major part in the growth of Redstone.

Like all ARRIVE townhomes, ARRIVE at Redstone Way is a certified BuiltGreen development. “Each ARRIVE townhome is inspected by an independent energy advisor, which includes blower door tests to confirm it is sealed well, providing an individual energy report and labelling for each home. Along with beautiful modern specs geared toward energy efficiencies, these townhomes offer a maintenance-free lifestyle that brings the best of what home ownership has to offer,” Mahon says.

“Purchasing a BuiltGreen certified townhome allows owners to receive a 15 per cent rebate on mortgage insurance premiums. That’s in addition to the obvious benefit from the significant savings on utility bills, on average by 10 per cent compared to a conventional build.”

Partners Development Group will have their ARRIVE at Redstone Way onsite presentation centre open in January, with possessions beginning summer 2018.
