Walden Place finds sweet spot in affordability, style and convenience

Walden Place is doing particularly well, as they launch their latest building this spring. “It’s proven to be a very popular development. In a relatively short period of time we have sold 225 condos and townhomes.”
Logel adds. “No matter what the real estate market is doing, purchasers will always gravitate towards the best location and value.”

The latest condo building to be released at Walden Place will be the first and only building to back onto the development’s large park.  There will also be new and exciting floorplans released that will fit many different
lifestyles and price ranges.

Specifically, there are several new one- and two-bedroom plans that are designed to allow for more useable space within the condo. There are also larger corner-units that are designed for those who are downsizing
but still require enough room for their large pieces of furniture. “These new plans represent our passion to push the boundaries of what is considered to be possible with a modern suburban condo” Logel says.

“Similar to the suites that went before it, these units will have nine-foot ceilings, the biggest windows seen in the Calgary condo market, and the best standard package offered in the industry, including quartz
countertops, stainless steel appliances, fresh air intake, premium sound attenuation and upgraded luxury vinyl plank flooring – all of which is standard,” Logel says.

Walden Place also has larger sized townhomes with double attached garages which have also been quite successful as the current phase is sold out. “No need to worry, we will have seven new townhomes that front
onto the park released very soon,” he says.

Besides the astounding range of designs and upscale specifications of its suites, Walden Place has even more going for it with its spectacular location in this hit southeast community.

But that’s not all that Walden Place has going for it.

Walden is where suburban serenity and shopping convenience meet. “At Cardel Lifestyles, we emphasize the ‘lifestyle’ part of our name to deliver our customers modern, convenient multi-family living they’ve come to

This includes a brand new Sobey’s and a Bed Bath and Beyond which are expected to start construction this summer. Meanwhile, Genstar Developments — the developers of Walden — are in the midst of finishing the
massive $7.7 million green space at Walden Drive and Walden Common.

“This beautiful park and natural area gives all residents the opportunity to enjoy recreational pursuits and an active lifestyle.” Logel adds.

Walden also has two sites designated for schools, soccer fields, a baseball diamond , and an area designated for a future community center. North of that, completing the 40-acre open space site, are the ponds that
will be surrounded by two kilometres of pathways this year.
