Auburn Rise rolls through tough market

Hitting a 72 per cent sold milestone in any market is a considerable achievement, but doing it in a market as challenging as Calgary’s real estate market is downright commendable. Auburn Rise has certainly lived up to its billing as a home that buyers want no matter the economy, even as sales for its third building remain strong.

Auburn Rise is the initial condo development of Logel Homes and it has certainly made a splash in the popular southeast lake cottage community of Auburn Bay.

“The project launched in the spring of 2017 and has achieved over 150 sales in that period, with more than half occurring in 2018,” says Brayden Logel, Vice President, Sales, Marketing & Customer Service.

Capturing the hearts and minds of Calgarians is no mean feat, but Logel Homes found a way to win homebuyers over with their award-winning customer service, breathtakingly stylish suites, multi-family construction expertise, and a location that is simply second to none.

But the most important key to their success can be found in the vision laid out by Logel Homes’ founder, Tim Logel. “Knowing our customers and understanding what they want and need in a home has been key to our success. When the entire team believes that nothing
is more important than a great experience for our customers, great results are achieved. All of our day-to-day decisions are based on asking the question ‘Will this add value to our customers?’ ”

This vision guides all departments within Logel Homes; from construction to accounting and sales to IT, says Brayden, Tim’s son. “The entire team has bought into the mentality that the customer is why we do what we do everyday — and we prove that by continuously
exceeding our metrics for customer experience.”

This dedication has led the team to gain industry and marketplace acclaim.

“We’re 72 per cent sold out of released inventory and over 50 per cent sold out of Building 3. The entire development is over 40 per cent sold out,” Brayden says. “Over 150 sales to date! At this year’s BILD Awards, the Auburn Rise team ranked third Overall in Calgary for
Sales Team of the Year,” he adds.

Logel Homes has also won Best Customer Experience (Calgary Region, Large Volume Multi-Family) at the Home Owner Mark of Excellence (H.O.M.E) Awards 2019. “This is our fifth year of achieving top honours in this category. The Home Owner Mark of Excellence
(H.O.M.E.) is an independent certification program created by CustomerInsightTM and based solely on the voice of the customer. All scores and ratings are from real homeowners, just like you,” Logel adds.

Logel Homes is also a Gold Standard Winner among Canada’s Best Managed Companies. “We won our initial Best Managed award in 2015 and have successfully retained our status, becoming a Gold Standard winner in 2019,” he adds.

Industry awards, however, are just the icing on what was already a hands-down hit, as Auburn Rise offers stylishly affordable condos that fit a wide range of lifestyles.

“People love that Auburn Rise offers floor plans to suit all types of homeowners, from the first-time single buyers to downsizers who are used to features typical of single-family homes,” Brayden says.

“Buyers love that they aren’t merely getting a new home, but a new lifestyle — Auburn Rise is located in the amenity-rich community of Auburn Bay, allowing for easy access to shopping, dining, or a dip in the lake. Now with the growth happening in Seton, Auburn Rise
combines the best of both worlds by putting you minutes to a bustling urban community OR the 43-acre lake.”

Auburn Rise sits directly across the street from the popular Auburn Station commercial centre that features a Co-op grocery and liquor store, a gas station a popular community pub and of course a Tim Hortons coffee shop, and more.

There are seven show suites available to walkthrough, including the Atwood and Cohen, that came in as Calgary’s number 1 and 2 “Best Apartment Style in the $250,000 to $379,999 price range” at this year’s BILD Awards.

There are currently over 20 quick possessions available for purchase, he points out. “And if that doesn’t fit your timelines, we’re offering $5,000 in free upgrades when you purchase a condo in Building 3. Also, if you have a home to sell, our sales team is able to help by
setting you up with our listing realtor who can get you right-sized in no time.”

Apartment style condos range in size from 467 to 1,020 square-feet and prices are from the mid $100,000s.

“We couldn’t have asked for a better first development. With its outstanding location, the ability to choose from three grocery stores, extensive shopping, a hospital and a lake; a vibrant, add-value location that the customers are responding very positively to — and in the
end, that’s what truly matters,” Brayden says. “Not only are we thrilled about the development surpassing our expectations and being the first project under the Logel banner, but our customers are ecstatic.”
