Viva, by TORODE Residential Ltd., is located just east of Arriva in East Victoria Crossing, an inner-city neighbourhood that has recently undergone a transformation, suddenly delivering Rocky Mountain views from the vantage point of the sky-high Arriva penthouse suites.
Viva condos are smaller and more affordable than those in Arriva, but built by the same developers and therefore finished to the same exceptional levels of quality.
Across the Beltline in Lower Mount Royal (which runs parallel to Uptown 17th Avenue), Providence Mount Royal is a new West Coast-inspired complex. It offers affordable units in what has been, historically, one of the city's least affordable neighborhoods. It's in the 800 block of Royal Avenue S.W. and is the Providence Development Group's latest project.
In the northeast, Red Willow townhomes in Saddlebrook start at $229,000 plus GST and feature two floors and a developed basement. Kitchen and dining areas are bright and airy, with dual panel windows. The kitchen is equipped with Whirlpool stainless steel appliances, laminate counter tops, ceramic tile backsplash, double stainless steel bowl sinks and maple stained cabinets. The living room has an optional (upgrade) corner gas fireplace.
Castello on 12th Avenue is cool. Imagine coming home to unwind on your 300 square foot patio while soaking in views of the city skyline and the hustle and bustle on the city centre streets below. Later on, you can walk -- not drive -- to the trendiest restaurants, boutique shops, 24-hour cafes and hippest nightlife in the city. You'll love it.
