A taste of Ginger

Shelley Williamson

Streetside is at it again, this time bringing a slightly different condominium project to the market with Ginger Park in the community of West Springs.

The upscale west-side townhome addresses at 85 Street and 9 Avenue S.W. will boast larger-than-average homes—at 1,400 square-feet—with choices of double-master or three-bedroom plans, and including smart features from single-car garages to main-floor laundry as part of the package. “We are expecting pre-sales to go quickly,” says Kendra Milne, marketing manager at Streetside Developments Corp. “It’s a bit of a step up from what Streetside usually builds,” she adds, noting three separate aspen stands will also be pre-served. Two show suites are expected to open in fall, but until then a sales centre will host buyers on-site. Pre-sales for the project, which will be priced from the low $400,000s, kick off mid-March, but interested home shoppers can register at http://www.ginger-park.com. The location, close to a new Co-op, Shopper’s Drug Mart and stone’s throw from the Westside Regional Recreation Centre, is expected to lure young, professional couples and singles who work downtown, and mature buyers “smart-sizing” from larger homes.
