Landmark donates $100,000 to Haiti quake relief
In response to the terrible tragedy that ravaged Haiti, The Landmark Group of Builders, through its Community Care Program, has donated $100,000 to the Canadian Red Cross (http://www.redcross.ca) in support of the ongoing relief efforts.
“In appreciation for what we are blessed with, namely health, security for our children and family, prosperity, a great country to be proud of, we must do the best we can in helping these most ill-fated people,” says Reza Nasseri, CEO of The Landmark Group of Builders (http://www.landmarkgroup.ca). “They are mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, young and old, just like you and I.”
Nasseri has called upon the local home building community in both Edmonton and Calgary to also support the ongoing aid efforts in Haiti. Staff of the Landmark Group of Builders, have also generously donated to this cause.
The Landmark Group of Builders’ Community Care program works to have a positive impact in every community that it is building. Through an ongoing commitment to enhance quality of life for Albertans across the province, the Community Care program is Landmark’s contribution to local area social programs and organizations. Thanks to the fundraising efforts of Landmark’s staff, suppliers and associates, the Community Care program has already generated over $6.5 million in contributions across Alberta alone.
