BoConcept launches spring collection
Denmark’s most prestigious and biggest global retail furniture chain — which only recently opened its first store in Calgary — introduced its new spring collection of trendy, ultra-chic items.
The event attracted dozens of designers and design lovers alike to check out the latest in contemporary furniture trends. BoConcept’s visual merchandiser for North America, Kalina Gornicheva, was on hand to talk about the latest furniture trends.
“BoConcept is on the very cutting edge of urban design and flair, because of our extensive global reach we know of new designs ahead of everyone else,” says Calgary store manager Philip Bechmann.
The store — located 701-11th Ave S.W. right in the heart of the city’s designer district — has been met with outstanding success since it opened in December and has been at the forefront of several design events over the past few months.
“We’re really happy to be here in Calgary, and the friendliness of the people here is something that I personally found quite unbelievable, everyone is so warm and welcoming,” Bechmann tells Around Town.
He says that the company offers customized, coordinated and affordable design furniture and accessories. “Customized because our products can be designed to match the needs and dreams of our customers. Coordinated because we take a holistic approach in the development and design of our product range. Design because we are a design company with our own designers. Affordable because we want to spoil our customers by giving them great value.”
