Bucci Developments next project in Calgary, just north of the Bow River in the popular inner-city community of Bridgeland, is named, appropriately, NEXT.

A family-owned and operated company for three generations, Bucci has been building in Alberta since the early 1950s. And, although most people probably know them for their most recent condominium project, the multiple award-winning Xenex on 12th, they’re also the firm behind the Bella Citta and Bella Lusso condos (also in Bridgleland), as well as Bonavista Estates condominiums.
NEXT, to be located at the corner of Edmonton Trail and 4 Street NE, proudly carries on with the same tradition of quality design and construction. And, of course, a first class location, with downtown just minutes away and dozens of boutiques and restaurants within easy walking distance.

Consisting of two four-storey buildings, the completed project will be home to 132 apartment-style condo suites. Outside, the buildings pay homage to historical Bridgeland with an attractive red brick façade. On the interior, from the suites themselves to the common area amenities, it’s all about the lifestyle.
To start with, buyers have a choice of no less than 15 different floor plans. Options include studios and one or two-bedroom units, ranging all the way from 638 to 1097 square-feet. Final pricing is yet to be announced but it’s expected that 50 per cent of units will be priced at less than $256,000.

Attention to detail is a Bucci hallmark, with standard features like soft-close drawers, double bowl square stainless steel sink, and Energy Star stainless steel appliances in the kitchen. Other notable features include wide plank designer laminate flooring, dual flush toilets and even a built-in computer station – a great use of space in a condo, where designers have to make every square-foot count. Even the space between units has been meticulously planned out, with the overall separation of the walls and floors coupled with sound absorbing insulation to ensure an Impact Isolation Class value of 50 (compared to 33 for a standard eight-inch slab of concrete).
NEXT also more than holds its own in terms of shared amenities, with two well-equipped fitness rooms (one for each building), a large landscaped courtyard, a car wash area in the underground parkade, and even a dog washing station.
