Second Keynote Residential Tower to rise
Keynote Development Corporation announced that CANA Management Ltd. (CANA) is leading the construction on Keynote Residential Tower Two in their ambitious Keynote Urban Village in Calgary’s Beltline district.
“We are proud to continue to invest in our city of Calgary with the second Keynote Tower in the downtown area,” says Garth Jacques, Chief Financial Officer of Keynote Development Corporation. “Our success at Keynote lies in the strengths of working together with industry leaders. That is why, through careful selection, we have teamed up with CANA to deliver the best product possible to Calgarians, homeowners and investors.”
The construction for the Keynote Residential Tower Two is now underway, with a commitment to minimize the impact on the Keynote Urban Village during the construction.
“It was our goal to bring vitality back to Calgary’s downtown and it has happened,” says Jacques. “Since the building of Keynote we have watched the growth and expansion of the urban village, and the surrounding area, come to life.”
A landmark development in Calgary’s historic Victoria Crossing district, Keynote Urban Village encompasses nearly an entire city block on 1st Street S.E., between 11th and 12th Avenues, and is proud to be a cornerstone of Calgary’s inner-city restoration. The Keynote development already includes the 26-storey Residential Tower One, a 14-storey office tower with featured tenants CH2M Hill and Aon Reed Stenhouse Inc., and 40,000 square-feet of retail space, occupied by Sunterra Market, Starbucks, and RBC Royal Bank.
The 29-storey Residential Tower Two will feature one- and two-bedroom condos for a total of 250 suites. On-site amenities include a wet-spa, urban rooftop oasis with gardens, and Keynote’s unsurpassed views. Possessions are scheduled for the summer of 2013.
